Technicalities


Conference will be held in Poznan, Poland, at the Adam Mickiewicz University.
Most of sessions will take place in the Institute of Classical Philology, Colegium Maius AMU, Fredry street 10 [ul. Fredry 10]
Getting here

There are several ways to reach Poznan:
- Poznan-Lawica Airport has regular connections with international airports in the UK, Ireland, Germany and Italy. For details see airport website (http://www.airport-poznan.com.pl ).
Estimated cost of a return ticket form the UK is about 60 pounds, from Italy about 70 euros.
The easiest way to get to the city center from the airport is to take a commuter bus (lines 59, 48, L) or a taxi.
- the PKP (Polish Public Railways) has connection with many European capitals. You can check the timetable and book a ticket on the website http://www.intercity.pl.
- there are also international coach connections to Poznan. Please see your local travel agency.

Conference fee

Conference fee is 25 euro or 20 pounds and includes: the conference booklet (with the program) and other conference materials (name badges, folders), as well as the book that will be sent in autumn 2009.
Bank account details will be announced soon, payments will be also received in place at the beginning of the conference".

Accommodation

The organizing committee can offer help with accommodation booking.
Please, mark the proper option in the registration form indicating exact time of your arrival and departure.
The price is 15 euros or 35 euros per night, depending on the chosen standard of accommodation.
