Abstracts submissions

We welcome papers from graduate students at both the master’s and doctoral level. Students from all European countries are welcome to submit papers. There are two official languages of the conference in which papers could be delivered: English and Polish. Questions and answers, as well as discussions will also be held in those langauges. We welcome paper proposals both in English and in Polish. We will ensure life traslation between both languages throughout the conference. The papers should present research based mainly on primary sources.

Any student wishing to submit a paper proposal must fill out an electronic form (link below) in which they will provide personal details and an abstract of no more than 300 words. The abstract must contain an explanation of the paper’s title and the aim of the research that is to be presented, as well as some details about the type of source material being used (i.e. textual, material), the research methodology (if appropriate) and a few words about any preliminary findings which may have come from the research.

The conference organisation committee will select papers based on how they relate to the theme of the conference, how they make use of their sources and how much original scholarship is present. Each student may submit only one paper proposal.

The deadline for abstracts is 27 March 2009, at 10:00 pm. Anyone who submits a proposal will be informed if their paper has been accepted by 03 April.
